But how does one exactly know tat he/she is in love??Recently I watched “jaane tu..ya jaane na “. The movie had only one single point. Two extremely close pals who cared the most for each other realised that they actually love each other only when they see the other in someone else’s arms. Even in KJo’s kkhh, Anjali(kajol) realises her love for Rahul(SRK!!!) when Tina(rani) steps in. Jealousy might not always be the key to realisation of love.
Some people believe in “silent love”. They have feelings for a person and the other person might not even be slightly aware of the situation. Some are of the opinion that “its not really love if you dont express it”. But I do not agree with that. If all the feelings are genuine, it will eventually surface. In some cases, its pure obsession. I agree possessiveness is essential but there is a very fragile line between love and obsession.(ex- tamil movie kadhal kandaen where the other person is actually scared n choked rather than feeling loved). Most times people make a transition from close friendship to love. they already know each other well and are comfortable in each other’s company and I feel that’s a secure transition. The most unpredictable of the relations are those that start off with attraction or admiration.
Movies come with up heavy “romantic ” dialogues and loads of crap year after year( must admit some of them are well made though ) but still confusion over feelings always prevails. Especially when ‘age’ is also a factor. people always say that teenagers or adoloscents dont really know what “love ” is. I am of the opinion that love has no age. you cant say feelings should arise only when a person is above 23! that doesnt mean i support all the lame 13 yr olds who claim to be “in love”.

Love can bring about such fascinating positive changes in a person during such a phase. The thought of someone caring so much for you is wonderful.Everyone perceives it differently though. Every morning when u get up with the thought that the presence of a person in your life makes it so special, when you face the mirror and feel that u’ve to look your best for yourself and in the eyes of that someone, when you have a beeming smile on your face and twinkle in your eye , when you wait for that person’s phone call and when you sleep with the comfort that to someone you mean a lot and that person means the world to you, its like you are in fairy land! And life is at its best! Of course the road is rough and there can be heartbreaks and tears but every moment of it ‘ll be worth it. Not only cos of the precious moments but also cos of the wonderful journey and cos of the transformations it has brought in you. hmmm….yea love comes in different forms, different versions……..I myself have experienced quite a few of them
….but when you talk of love not having any age, I feel that adolescents generally have a feeling that everyone is sweet, and they generally don’t look at the consequences of whatever they think or do……so many times, a crush is mistaken for the ‘love of someone’s life’….just a thought….

truly age is no factor to find love.. today ppl in their late teens or early 20s are committed already..! dunno if they r all lucky to find tru love this early in life…but i feel anyone shd consider the practicalities [i mean family/mutual compatibility, future plans etc..] b4 getting into a relationship.. thers no significance for true love if it cant sustain till the end.. just my opinion..

thank u.. i truly agree. ya everyone should think if the relation can head somewhere. But isn’t it like the 2nd stage? firstly, a person should ‘ve very strong feelings for someone and only then can think of the future. The reverse process doesnt work i think.:-) not sure myself. N i’ve a fren who has found some1 of the even same sub caste! n he claims tat he’s “in love ” wit her. I don think tats actually possible

Sri – firstly, the video rocked!
secondly, I think he’ll be very impressed by my kind of PJ’s (cos he doesn’t do anything different on ‘Wassup?”)
lastly, coming to the love part….I don’t think there are well-defined stages in love. What you call as the first stage is just infatuation. I feel that when two people are attracted to each other, its important for them to first check whether they are emotionally compatible with each other, before committing, even if they don’t have to consider about their families or religion; that will come only later (IF they manage to sustain it for a reasonable period of time) and that, I feel, is what you call the second stage, when they want to take their relationship to the next level….
Again, only my view.

hey.. me again..! i dont think its possible to differentiate between ’stages’ of love [if they exist].. i mean.. ppl dont think..’ok, i am done checking her/him out, or having strong feelings for her [as u've rightly mentioned], now let me think how compatible we’ll be’.. i think it doesnt work that way.. most of my friends havent known when its started or how actually it’s come to the status its in today..!!!..this is again just my opinion..

@Ashwin- That’s exactly what I’m trying to say….you can’t break it down into exact stages or modules. Love is a feeling that just happens, without any reason. But its not necessary that when you love someone, you have to enter into a relationship with them….and when you DO want to have a relationship, its better to have it with someone who can complement you and vice versa, so that you’ll have lesser problems later on . Atleast that’s what I would do
